The simultaneous dual-band support can dramatically improve efficiency. It can extend your router with super-fast Wi-Fi, and provide access to the storage drive contained within. The IDrive One employs beam-forming technology to target its signal to the receiving device. It features simultaneous dual-band support, transmitting in both the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz frequencies at the same time. When used as a wireless base station, the IDrive One and its 802.11ac standard boasts transfer rates of up to 1.3Gb/s, which is triple that of the previous 802.11n standard. The IDrive One can operate as a fast wireless base station, as an extension of your smart phone or other mobile storage, or to perform encrypted local backups. Both versions comes with 1TB of IDrive cloud backup for free for one year. The IDrive One is offered in both an HDD version with capacities of either 1TB or 2TB, and an SSD version with capacities of either 128GB or 256GB. IDrive Online Backup is announcing the launch of their IDrive One, a wireless storage device that provides advanced wireless connectivity, as well as streaming capabilities.
